I thought at least K-san would appreciate this little find of mine...
Pokemon Live!
I was surfing Youtube yesterday (as is my life story), and decided to see if there were any videos of Dee Roscioli, the current Elphaba standby in the Chicago Wicked production.
Well, much to my horror, a music vid to one of these songs popped up (she played Ash's mom, apparently), and it freaked me out considerably that someone like her (who, for the record, is very talented) would stoop down to this level. D:
I mean...
then they meet a deaf trainer. By way of sign language, Brock communicates with the deaf trainer, who agrees to let them share his map on one condition - he and "the guy with the weird hair" have a battle first, to which Ash agrees. The deaf trainer sends out Jigglypuff, who instantly starts singing and puts everyone who isn't deaf to sleep. When Jigglypuff finishes, it's obviously upset that no one but its trainer (who obviously didn't hear it due to being deaf) stayed awake to hear the song, and starts drawing on their faces, but Jigglypuff is stopped by its trainer, who leaves his map with the trio. Afterwards, Misty wakes up and starts wiping Jigglypuff's marks off of Ash's face while singing about her secret feelings for him and her fear of rejection.
Wow. Just wow.
Poor Dee. ;_;

I LOVE KRISTEN LEE KELLY. I LOVE ANTHONY RAPP. I LOVE DAPHNE RUBIN-VEGA. OMFG IDINA AND JESSE. XD <<<<333
And OMFG THERE IS PROFESSIONAL FOOTAGE. I think there's a problem with copyrights or something, but there is a chance for the DVD release now. PLEASE GOD. LET IT BE SO.
I was literally in tears for a lot of this. I can't imagine what would've happened if I was there - I would have been HYSTERICAL.

And here's the second part of the picspam. I tried to keep these as movie-centric as possible, eliminating all of the great pictures of the cast doing other photoshoots and etc that I wanted to include...
Approx. 77 pictures

So at this very moment, the Rent 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert is happening in New York. I, being poor and unable to be in New York, wish to celebrate in my own way and such here is a massive Rent Picspam. For myself mostly, because it'll be nice to be able to see my favorite Rent pictures in one place.
Going to be in two or three parts, haven't decided. This one has approx. 90 pictures.

Part 1: Rent Stage Show (99% OBC) & Jonathan Larson
( La Vie Boheme )

Rumors came, and now they're confirmed! Idina has been persuaded to open the role of Elphaba in London's West End premiere of Wicked, beginning September 7, 2006 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre for a limited engagement! Previews begin on September 7th, with the opening scheduled for the 27th. The end of her run has not been announced, but it is likely to be a short stint, after which she'll be replaced by a British performer. (Sources: IdinaMenzel.com, WhatsOnStage.com, BroadwayWorld.com, Playbill.com, Broadway.com)
This is very exciting news for our Idina friends across the pond, and what a treat that the London theatre community will be exposed to her talent first-hand! This will likely be an incredibly sold out run, so be ready if you plan to go!
from idina-here.com
The best part about this is that there is a chance that I'll be able to go. London + Idina = ASKDFJASKLDFJASKLDFJASDF.

What You Own - Anthony Rapp; Adam Pascal |
] |

So, Adam and his kids need to get out together more often. They're so cute. :3 Thank you Martha Stewart, for bringing Cybele on your show.
Yeah, that was really the only point to this entry.
Here. I'm going to plug this. It's Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp singing "What You Own" at the Rent 5th Aniversary Benefit Concert. I don't know how many times I've watched it since I found it--it's adorable. xD Adam's being a goofball and it's pretty amusing, and Anthony is just... Anthony, with the great positions he does with his hands when he sings.

NOT RENT KTHNX. |
] |
Man. I just realized how misguided I am.
My life has been completely boring lately, especially since I've been skipping school. ): Truancy is the way to go, I must say.
- I rewatched Rent and... wtf. Why did i ever like this? It's soooo lame. :\ The music sucks, there all so whiny--they need to go get jobs, and Anthony Rapp has two be the worse person ever. Maybe Ill still b able to sell my ticket for the show next Tuesday.
- I threw out all of my show tunes and orchestral CDs. I'm listening to lots of pop artists and rap now (Hilaryduff is awesome, guys)--now that's REAL music. :D
- I think I'm going to run away from home. I hate my family. The baby is obnoksious 100% of the time. My dog is a pain in the but. My cats are good for nothing except making me sneeze. Maybe I'll go live with Alessa in the middle of the Shawnee nasional Forest! I hate Chicago anyways, the middle of nowhere is the place for me. :)
- LotR is the most pointless piece of crap everrrrr. a billion words about some stupid ring? I don even think it's worth capitolizing. Good lord. The movies are better then the books--Orlando bloom at least is hot--but still, how freaking pointless. two bad I'm writing an essay on it for english. ): Maybe Ill sell all of my lotr stuff to buy money for drugs, since that's definitely something I'd love to do with my life, become a junkie and all.
- Lost has to be the dumbest show ever. You can only write so much stuff about people trapped on a damn island. Jesus. I should prbably just sell all my tvs. That way I wont get have too watch such crap as 24, Gray's Anatomy, and most especially lost, as I said before. That show makes me want to barf. And the cast? How ugly. They all need to get plastic surgery, for real. It hurts my i's, watching them.
- Neon Genesis evangelion is soooo stupid. It's some stupid guy's attempt to be deep or something. how about he gets a life and doesn't make such crappy shows? NOBODY watches it anyways, god.
- HP is possibly even worse than lotR. Wizards today? what a stupid concept. JK rowling doesn't deserve a penny that she makes.
- I hate Inuyasha, except during those testsuaiga upgrade arcs. THOSE are the only reason I keep reading it, forget chapter 374 and some of the more recent ones. Oh and, the dub ROCKZ. omfg. :D :D
- why do i like digimon? it's such a kids show. ):
- I hate playing cello. :\ It hurts my hands so freaking badly and god. I can't believe I signed up for Beginning Strings. Honestly, I should drop the class. Or maybe I won't if we get to go to Ohio next year, instead of that place they won't tell us. Because Ohio will be TOTALLY fun, omfg. :D :D :D
- And while I'm dropping Strings, why not just drop out of honors too? Their way toooo hard for me. I cant handle it. How could i have ever thought of taking an AP class next year.
- and man. the english language SUX. I hate proper gramar. GRRRR. )<
- I should throw out my computer. And my digital camera. I'l have enough money with the rent ticket and all my lotr crap, why not just get rid of it the good old fashioned way?
- You know what else. I could just burn my books too. Reading really hurts my brain.
- I should probably just drop out of school altogether, actually. or maybe I'll stay in for as long as possible until i get kicked out, so my parents have to keep paying. lol. :D
- And why don't I ever say "lol"? I mean, it's what everybody ELSE does.
- though it might ruin my new emo image. ): I'm even writing crappy poetry and everything.
Phew, my life is so much more complete now. I hope you guys realize how empty your lives are too! Especially laprisknight88 & oi_vey, you losers.
PS - Happy Fred & George's Birthday. ;)
PPS - Look out for a massive picture post soon. It was Spirit Week at McAuley this week.
And I'd so go into my rant about how I hate when people write "PSS" except that I hate the English language now, so that's completely acceptable. ;D

] |
So I actually did stuff this weekend, and I had my camera for half of it! Friday Chelsey and I went to Borders and then to Julie's, where we played Disney trivia and watched Rent. :)
Saturday morning I got up super early to go work Freshmen registration at McAuley. It was actually pretty fun. Intermediate Strings was playing and it got me super pumped for next year, let me tell you. They played Hall of the Mountain King and wtf it was amazing. :o
Then we cut to the bits where I had my camera.
( shall not walk alone )
There's no new Grey's Anatomy on tonight. ):
