the house hippo [14 Aug 2005|06:06pm] [ mood | bouncy ] [ music | horrible canadian commercials ] a discussion with my mom and brother has lead me to remember my all-time favourite canadian commercial. there are tons of runners up (including this hilarious gem, including a puppet beet, and the very frightening to little children astar commercial for the war amps.) The Common House Hippo. this commercial was my favourite when i was little. watch it! :3 canadian commercials in the early 90's fucking rocked. admit it. i love the concerned children's advertisers website. e d i t the famous "drugs" rap has been located on the CCA site. i'll point out that the astar commercial is realplayer, and everything else is linked for quicktime, but there are windows media player versions on these webpages. 17 comments|post comment
