I really hate people who bitch about not getting what they want for Christmas.
If you fucking want something, get it yourself. You can't expect other people to get stuff done for you!
**snuggles her ipod and the picture she clipped of her ibook**
...
**coughs and hands Lyle $1000 XD** Hey. I still paid for it.
So anywhoo, Lyle's family really likes this Christmas stuff. Their christmas tree is really pretty, and there is so much food in this house I'm going to have to DDR for 4 hours just to work off the junk I ate tonight.
There's these really good chocolate things in the basement fridge, where the cans of coke and pepsi are. They look like they have caramel on top. @____@
Apparently, Lyle's family has a big big dinner Christmas Eve. So they end up snacking all afternoon on appitizers, like we did on Thanksgiving, only three fold.
Examples of snacks? Sure. Pat's awesome chip dip. It's just like the stuff I make, but she adds in creamcheese and artichoke for texture. Plus sour cream, salsa, cheese, and fresh green onions. *____* It's so good. Plus Lyle's family has this fetish with cheese and pineapple. Yes, together. And yes, it's good. Also, crackers, meats, cheeses, chips, tons of different candy, homemade fudge-like stuff, cookies... Oh my god I'm going to die.
There are a lot of gifts under the tree @____@ I feel kind of bad because we didn't have a lot of money to spend, but I'm sure they realize that. Besides, I didn't ask them to get me anything. They really didn't have to. They took me into their home for over a month already. Not to mention they have me over for any occasion.
We're going to do the present thing on Christmas morning, and then we're going to Lyle's Aunt's house in Burlington for MORE food. This family enjoys their eating.
I miss my family a lot. I miss some of the stuff we do. And my mom's cooking. Lyle's mom is an awesome cook too, but still. ;_; Mommy. I miss opening ONE present on Christmas Eve, and then staying up all night with my brother, trying to communicate through a combination of morse code and just general tomfoolery while our parents wrap gifts downstairs.
I won't get my gifts from my family until later next week because of how busy the Greyhound courier service is. Plus, I'm itching to activate my credit card. Also, I'm expecting a lot of cards in the mail. So I hope I go home to a full mailbox!
Next week I work Monday to Wednesday, 8 - 4. And then Sunday 11 - 7. Pretty sweet deal. Tim laughed at me because I was trapped on my block and couldn't get to work. I literally couldn't have gotten to the bus stop without either getting maimed by cars sliding all over the skating rink that is Upper Wellington street, or being soaked head to toe. Not only that, but our back door was frozen shut.
I said I wouldn't update but that's a blatent lie. Since Lyle's brothers are all afraid of girls ((Except Sean. He seems to be getting used to me. He even talks to me now and then!)), I ended up getting on the computer for a while. X3
Lyle went out with his friends. And I actually wanted to go but I was so tired I fell asleep on the couch like 5 minutes after he left.
