Well most denial of service attacks like this one happen by Americans hijacking poorly protected computers around the world. So chances are big it's actually some "Pearl American" that's doing it.

And even if it was a chinese person, it's just one out of 1,306,313,812

And Caleida is NOT American

It's international. The server is in Singapore, I am in Denmark, everybody else is all scattered around other places in the world.
So it's an especially bad place to make comments that sound as if you don't like people from some other parts of the world than your own.
Of course if you want to fuck with all chinese, I guess I can't stop you, but be warned that there's a lot of them to fuck. Soreness might ensue.

The whole range 219.x.x.x is owned by APNIC and administered by an Australian company in Brisbane. It leases the subrange 219.141.128.x-219.143.255.x to China Telecom, AKA Beijing Telecom and China Net. The particular IP ranges involved are not static and don't appear to be registered to anyone in particular. So, basically just a bunch of 56k Chinese zombies DoS'ing us. ><

I did write to their abuse and spam email addresses, but got no response.

They are still hitting us at full speed, but I am just sending them a 304 response header, so it doesn't have much effect on us.

China is having lots of problems with youths accessing things of free thought that aren't under the control of the dictatorship there.

Super long shot, but maybe there are some people from China on Caleida that someone doesn't want on here anymore?
