Assuming Miss Joshuan approves the idea that your new social director, Sebastian Grenier, and myself have been discussing, everyone who has an interest in music, dance, poetry, or acting may want to take a listen to what our intentions are.
Your new student body president, being the wonderful student she is, previously planned and held an entire talent show without much assistance from anyone else back on April 25th, 2003. Until she gives her back on the two of collaborating and using our combined talents to give you yet another chance to show off your OWN talents, everything is still uncertain, and this entry - serving as a sign-up sheet of proportions - will be used as a head count of possible performers and helpers.
If you have an interest in seeing this become a reality and not just an idea, please comment with your name and year level, with what you'd like to do - watch, perform, or assist - in order to further this production. More information on this will be posted in the music room as we get it, and hopefully, we can wind the summer down with one last bang to finish it off before the fall season begins.

At some point in their lives, everyone thinks about keeping a journal -- and then, even more so when you become a teacher, because it gives you a chance to interact with your students on a completely different level. The power of words is great, but the number of people that recognize that are few, which is probably why I doubt giving you my autobiographical background would be of any use to anyone but myself.
To answer a few simple questions, my name is A. Moscatiello and few, very few, know what the A. stands for and even less are allowed to refer to me as such. I instruct the Music Theory classes at Dover Academy, both levels, and have for quite a while, though I've just gotten the courage to take Mr. Mack's (dear, how I miss him!) belief about using journals as an entirely separate platform from our classes. Also, I give lessons after the school day ends and on weekends for specialized instruments, my own favorites being guitar and bass, but I have enough working knowledge of piano, drums, and the like to help out to the best of my own ability.
I certainly look forward to meeting everyone that I already haven't and to seeing my students in the classroom on Monday. Come prepared and have a great weekend!
A Moscatiello
