Court: Inmate Cannot Sue U.S. for Copyright Infringement

A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that a U.S. inmate has no right to sue the government for copyright violations. The inmate claimed a calendar he produced and copyrighted while in prison was worth $500,000 and misappropriated by the United States, which sold it to federal agencies.
