I just did some CAP calculation because I'm not really in the mood to study now.
Current CAP: 4.32
Current MCs to date: 80
Number of MCs to go: 80
To achieve first class honours, average CAP per future semester: 4.6
To achieve second class honours (upper) average CAP per future semester: 3.7
Highest semester CAP to date: 4.6
Lowest semester CAP to date: 3.9
So, what does all the numbers mean? Basically, it means that, I cannot climb up by much or slide down by much!
I cannot imagine getting a 4.6 every semester from this semester on. I've never achieved beyond 4.6 and theorectically, to get my first class honours, I have to repeat my best performance thus far every semester! That is, quite, no, VERY hard.
Of course, if I seek just to maintain the course, I'll have a much easier time. The lowest I've ever gone is 3.9, thanks to a C+ and a B last semester, which were freak results from business modules. Theorectically speaking, with the bulk of my modules in my remaining semesters being major modules, there's no way I should slide below a 4.0 semester cap on average. So, I'll probably cruise along to a second uppers.
The moral of the story is: do NOT pick modules that will sabo your CAP. In anycase, by the time you know it, it is usually too late.

well... to inform u....
uR bro here had CAP above 4 for 3 years, and tot cannot drop by much, I'm currently hanging at 3.5 after 3 straight sems of 2+ hahahaz. Anyway, I believe u wun be as garang as me as to skip a 1.5 years of lectures and tutorials, playing games on the day of the paper, but yahz, uR CAP's power now, juz be consistent n I'm sure u hav a chance for uR 1st class. :)
den again, mebbi... like me... since know cannot change much, den relax abit, but dun over relac like me hahahaz.
