Hiya everyone! School's back in session (oh joy) and I'm starting the 4th year...only another to go before I complete both degrees! YIPEE! The ride will FINALLY be over!!!

Classes have gone reasonably well, and for the first time, I have nothing to do for December! Just exams! It's weird that when November ends, I'll have completed ALL my work for the term except the final exams. Tee hee! So, what mind wracking courses did I sign myself up for this year? Well, here goes... )

I'll see you in the padded room at Christmas!!!

Arrived home last Saturday alive, well, and very broke. I did so much shopping it was actually funny.

This week as been a University week in the sense of pricing textbooks, bitching about the run down facilities, opting out of the health plan, and paying tutiton. Needless to say, all I have left to do is buy textbooks.

One of them is $121.95. I don't remember the last book that cost that much. Probably my Themes & Variaitions (fourth edition) that is now in it's SEVENTH edition XD!

Okay, I'll update more sometime. Yeah, sometime. Perhaps Tuesday...if not then, Friday.

School in like, 5 days. YUCK!

OH MY FUCKING GOD

I got an $800 scholarship from my University. I guess it pays to work your ass off for an entire eight month period and obtain Dean's List.

I feel so content. That's eight hundred dollars I don't have to give the University for tuition. Instead of paying out $2800 for the first term, it's $2400...same for the second half too. HA HA! I ROCK!

OH YEAH! THE DIXIE CHICKS ARE TOMORROW NIGHT! I GET TO GET DRUNK AND SING AND DANCE TO COUNTRY MUSIC!!!

Sorry for the gloating. I needed a place to express my intense excitement!!! :D And sorry for the caps. I'm just so thrilled about everything!!!!!

Yesterday was SO FREAKING HOT! I stayed inside all day because I wouldn't have been able to breathe if I went outside. For some reason, my asthma is acting out on me now--isn't that just lovely. It hasn't been an issue since...of, December 2004, and now it decides to attack me with a vengeance. Bastard.

So, my weekend wasn't really all that productive. I spent most of Saturday ripping my old CD's to make a collection of MP3 cd's to have instead of 50 audio CD's. Ha, I didn't realize how much music I really had until I went through it all. But there is one small problem...CD's 5-7 didn't rip properly, so I have roughly 30 songs to search for, and they are as follows )

So other than ripping CD's, I haven't been up to much. I babysat at Cara's new house til 2:30 last night/early morning and it was creepy as old hell, but I'm just not used to it, that's all. Other than that, making a $150 bucks this week is certainly a plus side.

I'm out. ;D

Well, I know I haven't updated this in ages, but I can't help that. I still read everyone's journals, so a kudos to me for keeping up to date with everyone's lives on Caleida. My paid time ran out, and at some point I will be ordering some more, but I have to wait for money first.

I've been babysitting an awful lot since May and making my tuition--as of this Friday, I will have $2600 dollars for tuition (I'm estimating...it's probably more like $2650 but I'm rounding here). By my New Hampshire vacation time (August 18), I'll have made tuition with enough left to pay off my Visa. I'm also going for the job at Harbour Station so I can use the money I make there to pay off my Visa from New Hampshire spending and textbook buying, so it's all good.

My class schedule is almost finalized (thank God). Looks like I'll have three night courses in a row, and three day time classes. Oh boy! I go to class Monday-Friday at 11:30am, which I don't mind in the least.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest opening night and then went again a week later, hee hee. It was exceptionally wicked, and I really enjoyed it. The ending made me want more of the movie and I can honestly say I was shocked as hell when it ended (both times). Ha. Okay, so this is a basic mumbo jumbo update, but at least it's something right? Right.

I cleaned out a lot of shit in my room this past weekend, and I still have another bin to sort through because I'm not sure about the contents to keep in it. I also found a lot of stuff I didn't realize I hung onto, so it went into the trash. When I get into one of those "chuck everything moods," it's really easy to get rid of crap.

Alrighty, I'm going to finish watching The Curse of the Black Pearl now, and then watch some episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, season three. Oh, and play some more of Final Fantasy VIII. I really don't understand how people can hate that game so much. I know the whole junctioning thing can get annoying and confusing, and yes, Rinoa can be a pain in the ass, but I generally enjoy the story and the game (but it's no Final Fantasy VI [and yes, I mean SIX, not SEVEN. I did not forget a roman numeral there]).

Okay, I'm gone. Toodles.

Happy Fourth of July to my neighbours to the south! Enjoy the festivities!

I forgot to mention in an earlier post that I was going to see the Dixie Chicks on August 10th with one of my best friends--it should be lots of fun! Cowboy hats and all! Really good seats, too! I'm so excited! Then, the next week I go on my yearly North Conway, NH trip for a week with my other best bud, [info]lil_miss! It should be fun all around!!!

YAY SHOPPING TAX FREE! SQUEE!

This past weekend I went to Halifax for my Aunt & Uncle's surprise 25th anniversary party. It was a Luau, and I discovered that I cannot go from rum to vodka, as it makes me fall asleep...and rum is so good, too. Poo.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest on Friday! Haven't figured out what time yet that I'm going (waiting on Tracey for the time) and then we're going to the Saint John Ale House to have some drinks...well, a little more than 'some' drinks, ha ha.

Damn, I feel like a cosmo. I think I may still have some Rose's infusions lying around somewhere. I'm still trying to organize my class schedule for the fall, too. I SO want to take Film & Society, but it's full right now. It's either that, or an introduction to communication studies *gag*. If that happens, I'll stick with the damn night class.

I'm totally into the O.C. now (it's my guilty pleasure) so I'll probably be asking for them for Christmas presents. Also, ran into money issues--I really need to get some babysitting jobs on the side for extra cash soon! I'm short about 300 bucks to pay off my Visa bill totally. I'll have roughly $3,100 by summer's end, but $2,835 of it is going to tuition, only leaving $265 for me to pay off my $675 credit card bill...joy. Side jobs in babysitting will save my ass here!

Later ♥
