Susan had left Hogwarts after everyone else went to Hogsmeade. She had a bit of homework to finish and she wanted to do that first before she completely forgot about it. Hannah and Sophie had probably gone together, unless they had dates and didn't tell her about it. No matter though, she'd most likely run into them later on.

When she finally reached Hogsmeade, the town was packed as usual. She quickly made her way to the Three Broomsticks and looked around for anyone she knew, hoping she'd find some friends amidst the crowd.

Sophie looked up from where she sat with a fifth year Hufflepuff. She'd come early, and had been waiting for someone either Susan or Hannah to show up...anyone in her year really. Waving her arm energetically, she called, "Susan! Over here!"

When she heard Sophie call out from the far side of the room, Hannah poked her head out of the booth where she was sitting with Ernie Macmillan and Justin Finch-Fletchly.

"Excuse me, boys," she said, and they turned to her and nodded before going back to their discussion. They were talking about Quidditch, and Hannah was rather bored with it all by now anyway, so she went over to join Sophie's table.

"Hi! I must have missed you when we came in," Hannah said, grinning as she sat down and set her butterbeer on the table.

Sophie tried to stifle a giggle as the fifth year boy she was sitting up jumped out of his seat and mumbled a goodbye when faced with the prospect of so many girls at a table with him. "Uh, that was Billy, he's in fifth year. Kind of a shy guy, in case you couldn't guess!" Sophie grinned. "So how are you guys?"

Hannah giggled with Sophie at the escape of the fifth year boy. "I'm good. It's Hogsmeade weekend, so how could I be otherwise?" Hannah smiled and sipped her butterbeer, looking around the room. "We went by Honeyduke's first, but the Slytherin contingent was there in full force so we decided to come here and wait it out."

"Ugh," Sophie said, making a face. "Is it just me or have they gotten even weirder lately?" She shook her head, "We can try going back after this is you want...I also have to stop by that new robe shop if you guy want to come?"

"Sure," Hannah said, glancing over at the Hufflepuff boys' table, which now was occupied by most of the sixth and seventh year boys. "I've been wondering if that shop's much different from Madame Malkin's."

Hannah turned her gaze back to Sophie and gave her a small smile, slightly bushing. "Stay? Why would I want to stay," she asked, trying to sound casual. "There's shopping to be done."

Hannah smiled, her cheeks returning to their normal rosy hue. "We should probably go look at clothes first, since I doubt the shop owner would like us to come in with pockets full of sticky sweets."

Susan smiled as she finished her drink.

"I am... I can't wait to get some quality shopping time in with my girls!"

As they stood up, Susan linked arms with both Sophie and Hannah and led them out of the tavern.

"Sorry I'm late Sophie," exclaimed Susan as she sat down in the chair next to her friend, "I was finishing up all the Herbology work that I'm behind because I missed that ONE day last week. Remind me to not get sick again..."

The ginger-haired girl smiled sheepishly as Sophie passed her a butterbeer, which she began to drink immediately.
