We've moved to a private server! Read the ad below:

Well, hello, again!

We're the 6th year Hogwarts group who used to be known as

hprp4grownups here at Caleida. We've now moved to our very own private server, which is identical to LJ etc. in its setup, but is strictly for member use! That means no more worries about unexplained and unexpected service outages, because the maintainer of the site is a member of the RPG. Whoo! It also means a personalized in-character email address @hp-rpg.com, your choice of your character's name (free and clear, 'cos we're the only ones there!), and space for 30 icons for your character's every mood.

We're really active, very mature, excellent at spelling and grammar, and we all have a great sense of humour. Does this sound like a group with whom you'd click? If so, come apply to play with us.

Fleur had all of her things packed and ready to go. She quickly went over her list making sure that she hadn’t forgotten anything. Going back to school was sure to be fun, she thought of all the new classes and professors and all the cute boys and professor. She smiled and charmed her hair to sit in a neat ponytail. She whistled to her owl Amile, and the bird flew down and perched itself on her outstretched had. She smiled and put the bird in its cage and put the cage on her trunk. She then walked over to her desk and picked up a brown paper parcel and opened it. Inside was a small kettle. Fleur grabbed one handle of her trunk and then gently touched the kettle with the other hand. Fleur felt something pull her forward; she closed her eyes until she felt her feet on solid ground again. She looked down at her bird which looked like it was quite dizzy, then around at her surroundings. Dumbledore was sitting at his desk reading a large, long bit of parchment. He looked up and smiled “Good day Fleur, I was expecting you would arrive soon”

Sirius sat quietly in his office looking over notes for DADA class that day. They'd be starting new material after having spent a week on amulets and talismans. He glanced at the title at the top of the page: Cloaking Charms. He wasn't really sure how the students would take to it and he wasn't even sure he could stop them from using it during school hours. But he had to show it to them nonetheless. It was an important defensive technique and one that could possibly save their young lives should they ever encounter dangerous situations.

The charms would be difficult to master... they'd have to practice on items first and then after a week or so, they could practice on one another. But for now, they'd have to be happy with cloaking goblets that Sirius had procured from the kitchen. He collected his parchments and the box of goblets and headed toward the DADA classroom, keeping to himself mostly but never failing to send a smile when a student would say hello. He entered the room, levitating goblets out of the box and placing them on the desks as he did so. He placed the parchments on the desk and sat upon it, one leg dangling lightly while the other barely touched the floor. He had his arms crossed over his body as he waited for the students to arrive.

Fleur was now back home and rushing around her house looking for the most important things she would need to go to Hogwarts on Wednesday. She had bought all the items she would need in Hogsmeade on the weekend. She was very excited about seeing her friends, and a certain professor, but she was also excited about the new classes she would be taking. She sat on her bed and thought about how Hogwarts classes would be so different from Beauxbatons. She also wondered what her Housemates would be like. She picked up her new school robes, they had a raven on the crest, and she smiled as she folded up her clothes and put them in the trunk. Ohh it will be fun going back to school.

After a long day of shopping and cavorting, it was time for everyone to leave Hogsmeade and return to school. There was much groaning and grumbling from the students, but Hermione didn't mind going back. She'd had a very good day (especially now that she'd eaten), and she was content to not have anything come along to make too much a mess of it. Of course, there had been a few odd things, too. There appeared to be some interesting couplings happening all around her, she'd noticed with some amusement. She couldn't wait to get back to school to talk it over with her girlfriends. She and Harry had also had some strange conversations (and near misses) with people - topics they hadn't expected to cover on a day such as this. Aside from that, though, things had gone quite swimmingly, and she was feeling very pleased.

She rose from her chair in the cafe and sighed. To Harry she said, "Anything else we need to do before heading back?"

Sarah smiled as she stepped out of the Post office, she was very happy about the howler and only wished that she could watch him recieve it. As she walked though hogsmeade she was sure at one point she had heard a loud shouting comming from the Three broomsticks. She smirked as she walked into Gladrags, hoping to pick out a new tie as she had set her own on fire last week in charms and was having to wear her spare.

Susan looked up from her table in the cafe and saw Hermione, Ron and Harry approaching. She smiled and waved. Hannah and Sophie had just run off to the powder room, so she motioned for the threesome to come over and join them.

"Of course there's room for you!" Susan exclaimed when Hermione asked. She was happy for the company, and she was sure Sophie and Hannah would be glad to gossip about their shopping trip to Hermione as well. As they sat down around the table, Susan took a bite of her food, then asked, "So what were all you guys up to all day? Did the three of you agree on where to go?"

Draco sighed heavily as he pulled on a navy coloured button down shirt. He didn't really want to go to Hogsmeade, but he had promised Blaise he'd go with her, and he wasn't one to break a promise. Especially after what he'd been putting her through these past weeks. He felt awful about the way he'd been ignoring her.

For the first time in a while he turned to his full length mirror and gazed at his form, frowing as he buttoned all but the top three buttons of the shirt. He was still wearing the serpent charm he'd recieved earlier in the week and it was quite visible.

He bit his lip and shook his head, then turned to leave the dorm, heading to the steps to the Great Hall where he was to meet Blaise.

After leaving the Three Broomsticks once again, on what seemed like an eternal search for Ron, Harry and Hermione decided he must be at Honeydukes. He'd been talking about the new card in the chocolate frogs for ages.

"Where else could he be?" Hermiome muttered to Harry, as she began to get frustrated. All she'd had to eat thus far was a handful of nuts. She was starting to get grumpy.

Parvati, who had left for Hogsmeade later than the other students, walked through the streets alone, looking for a familiar face. She spotted a student here or there, but it was never anyone she had any particular interest in seeing. She sighed, wishing she hadn't had so much to do because then she wouldn't have been late.

"Where is everyone?" she said out loud. "Honeydukes!!"

With that realization, she turned around and headed for her favorite sweetshop. When she arrived there, however, the only one she spotted was Neville, but he was good enough for her.

"Hey Neville," she said, smiling. "How are you?"

Hermione and Harry walked out onto High Street. She was in a very good mood already, having bought herself quite the little gift. She'd have to show Sirius sometime soon...after he tore himself away from the Three Broomsticks, that is. She smiled to herself, thinking about how they'd left him there in the company of women. He was probably quite happy about it.

So far this Hogsmeade trip had been quite unlike any other. She hardly felt like she was forcing Harry to shop with her at all. He'd volunteered. That alone was a surprise. He usually groused about this sort of thing, as did Ron. She wasn't going to complain, though; it was a nice change to not feel like she was acting as the day's ringleader.

At Harry's request, they stopped in at Scrivenshaft's to look for quills. The store was actually quite a bit bigger than it appeared from the outside.

"You know," Hermione said as she thoughtfully perused the newest stock of writing implements, "I could just knit for Dobby and save you the time of going to Gladrags..." She suppressed a smile, knowing Harry would probably come up with several reasons why that was a bad idea.

Ginny looked over at Hermione. She was changing her clothes for the upteenth time. She looked down at her own outfit. Perhaps she should dress up and impress Dean. She signed and started taking off her old comfy jeans.

It was going to be such a long day. She had to fit in meeting with Percy and Hermione, and being with Dean, all without them knowing about each other. (Well, no one noticing Percy, really.) Why was he being so secretive? Well, whatever it was, she'd find out soon enough.

Sirius wandered through the town amidst the crowds of Hogwarts students. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as they ran from store to store, buying this and that. Many of them were packed into the Three Broomsticks. Hogsmeade weekends meant good business for Madame Rosmerta.

Sirius entered the tavern and looked over the heads of the patrons, searching for Harry, Hermione and Ron. He spotted them at a corner table and waved to them as they waved back. He began to make his way to them when he was suddenly accosted by two hands on his arms.

"Mis... er.. Professor Canis!" said a happy voice.

"Uh...Layla...hello again." Sirius tried to smile as he glanced over at Harry. He noticed his godson smirking a bit.

"You came back... I'm so glad to see you! What can I get you? Anything? Really, it'll be on the house. My aunt said so."

"Well.. do you think you could send over a round of butterbeer to that table over there?" He pointed to Harry's table, "Please"

"Yeah, anything for you..." She eyed him dreamily as she reluctantly let go of his arm.

Sirius made his way to the table, grabbed a chair and sat next to Ron. The boys at the table were snickering, and Sirius knew why.

Susan had left Hogwarts after everyone else went to Hogsmeade. She had a bit of homework to finish and she wanted to do that first before she completely forgot about it. Hannah and Sophie had probably gone together, unless they had dates and didn't tell her about it. No matter though, she'd most likely run into them later on.

When she finally reached Hogsmeade, the town was packed as usual. She quickly made her way to the Three Broomsticks and looked around for anyone she knew, hoping she'd find some friends amidst the crowd.
