abab, cdcd, efef, gg. [ February 6, 2006 ] cicada sonnet of sockalons only it doesn't fit the "or you can just go for ten syllables per verse, give or take." SORRY. I will take about 13 extra then. IN REFERENCE TO GIVE OR TAKE my socks they are blue. and they also have spots. blue with pink and yellow too, so i wear them right-lots. and i bought them at wal-mart. price tag adorning. because i wasnt that smart and forgot my socks in the morning. and i wore them all throughout the day and i wore them on the bus ride and i wore them with a "hurray!" and i wore them even outside! what a mess of a poem. perhaps i will just go ho-em*. The End. That took an unbelievable large of effort to take. It involved balancing on one foot on my swivel chair and staying still so it wouldn't swivel and send me flying. Event # 2, darknesstfc [ January 28, 2006 ] darknesstfc I've been typing for about twenty minutes, and I couldn't come up with anything worth reading to introduce this event. So, without delay (and a clever opening), I present to you Event #2! Pick out your favourite television show, school subject, channel, car, website, cartoon character, childhood toy or whatever (or maybe one that you hate), and write a sonnet about it! Just so you know, a sonnet consists of fourteen lines: three quatrains and a then a couplet. The rhyme pattern goes: abab, cdcd, efef, gg. Usually they're all in iambic pentameter... or you can just go for ten syllables per verse, give or take. Since I'm a weirdo, I had a lot of fun seeing what you guys carry around with you all day, and I hope you all got to know eachother better. In My Purse [ January 23, 2006 ] bleed4always Okay I'm stupid and don't know how to do the link thing... :shame: Also, no digital camera I'M SO SORRY! I usually carry this nicely large black purse from hot topic. It has gold stringy things on the side and the zippers are skulls. (my old school's colors were black and gold and I take pride in that school not this one!) Okay so I carry: My keys..a key to my house, my dad's house, the desk in my room, my cd holder, a key chain that says "I finally got it all together but I forgot where I put it" a LQ keychain (laserquest,  I've never been there) and a star key chain that used to be a flash light but I took it apart out of boredom. A pack of cigarettes, always either Camel Turkish Gold, which is what I smoke or Marlboro Reds, which my mum smokes. A purple round brush because the flat one stays in my back pack. An Angel Hello Kitty wallet my sister got me forever ago, it has two health insurance cards, a wal-mart gift certificate with 20$ on it and some pics in it. My pretty knife I named Davey. Black handle, curved blade very handy A red plasticy-rubbery dice that lights up when you throw it. I stole it off this girl's grave. Some old receipts That's all I carry unless I'm feeling crazazy. OH! And black eyeliner. I don't like to carry around my purse. I only take it when I go out on the weekends to play pool. I love pool. 16 comments, reply

[ January 19, 2006 ] earlgreytea [ mood | happy ] [ music | Revolution - Starfield ] I figured I should introduce myself, but first I'll say that I chickened out on the contest because I don't use my purses, and my backpack is in need of a wash. So, I'll wait until the next contest. =D My name's Wanda. I'm Polish. I've lived in Colorado for the past almost-six months. Prior to that, I lived in New Jersey. I recommend visiting CO because of the Rockies - they are a true magnificence to behold. I'm sixteen, although I have been told numerous times that I act several years older (but look younger). That doesn't mean I'm immune to the teenage type things that happen in my life. Unfortunately. :P I'm a writer (I've got a Phantom phan-fiction I wrote and love, I'll give you a link if you're interested). I'm also a good photographer. I'm a self-proclaimed geek who loves school, but that's only because my teachers rock and I actually feel like I'm learning something. I'm a hopeless romantic. I like hiking with my family. I sing, although I don't have the best voice. I'm too shy, but I am working on that. Mostly classic rock fits my fancy - The Beatles, U2, some Pink Floyd, among others. Random fact: For the first two years of highschool I kept a tally of all the gentlemanly things boys did in my presence. ^-^ So - if there's anything you don't know yet that you'd like to know, don't hesitate to ask. But yes, when I said the un-identified sparkly object...well that object is no more. I was taking out my 2 dollars( also mentioned) and then object exploaded on me. And I was covered in silver sparkles. And I must admit that I jumped sky high cause it was suprising to have a huge amount of silver sparkles on me. THE END. Good story, I know.
